Parley

A few things to know before you start.

While recording

  • Keep Parley open and the screen on. Locking the phone or switching apps stops the recording, but everything recorded up to then is kept.
  • Recordings upload while Parley is open. If there is no internet, they wait on the phone and upload the next time you open Parley.

Add Parley to your Home Screen

This keeps your recordings safe on the phone and opens Parley like an app.

  1. Tap the Share button at the bottom of Safari.
  2. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  3. Tap Add, then open Parley from the new icon.
  1. Tap the menu at the top right of Chrome.
  2. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Open Parley from the new icon.

Open this page on your phone, then add it to your Home Screen from the browser menu.

Licence

Google account

Recordings, transcripts and the ledger are saved in this account's Google Drive. Parley can only see the files it creates. Every phone at a booth should use the same account.

Not signed in

Business knowledge

Add your website pages, FAQ and price list. Parley uses them to rate each visitor Hot, Warm or Cold. Prices are never shown to visitors or put in follow-up messages.

One copy is kept in the Parley folder of your Google Drive and used by every phone signed in to it. Updating replaces it, so add every source each time.
